Race to Take Place at World Trade Center Site
The 9/11 Run to Remember 5K, an annual event to honor the victims of the September 11th attacks and support first responders, will be held on Sunday, September 7th, 2023, at the World Trade Center site in New York City.
The race, now in its 20th year, draws thousands of participants each year, including survivors, family members of victims, first responders, and members of the community.
The event features a 5K run and walk, as well as a kids' fun run. All proceeds from the race benefit the 9/11 Tribute Museum, which tells the story of the attacks and their aftermath.
Registration Now Open
Registration for the 9/11 Run to Remember 5K is now open. Participants can register online or on race day.
The race will start at 8:30 AM on September 7th at the World Trade Center site. The course will wind through the streets of lower Manhattan, passing by the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.
All participants will receive a commemorative race shirt and finisher's medal.
