Celtic F.C. legend Brendan Rodgers set to return to former club Falkirk F.C. as manager
Falkirk F.C. set to appoint legendary former player and current Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers as their new manager.
Rodgers, who began his playing career with Falkirk in 1984, went on to become one of the club's most successful managers, leading them to the Scottish First Division title in 2003 and the Scottish Cup final in 2009.
He left Falkirk in 2009 to take over at Reading, and has since managed Swansea City, Liverpool, and Celtic F.C., where he won seven major trophies, including three Scottish Premiership titles and two Scottish Cups.
Rodgers' return to Falkirk has been met with excitement by fans, who believe that he can bring back the glory days to the club.
Falkirk are currently playing in the Scottish Championship, the second tier of Scottish football, and are looking to return to the Scottish Premiership for the first time since 2014.
Rodgers is expected to be appointed as Falkirk's new manager in the coming days, and will be tasked with leading the club back to the top flight of Scottish football.
