Chelsea vs Everton: Cole Palmer's Four Goals Clinch Chelsea Win

Cole Palmer became the fourth player to score four goals for Chelsea in a single Premier League match as the Blues extended their unbeaten run to nine games with a 6-1 victory over Everton on Monday night.

The 21-year-old England international opened the scoring in the fourth minute and went on to add three more in the 22nd, 56th, and 70th minutes. Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic also scored for Chelsea, while Richarlison netted a consolation for Everton.

The win moves Chelsea up to eighth in the Premier League table, while Everton remain in the relegation zone in 18th place.

Palmer's performance was particularly impressive given that he was playing out of position on the right wing.

"I'm just happy to help the team," Palmer said after the match. "I'm not used to playing on the wing, but I just tried to do my best and I'm glad it worked out."

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel was full of praise for Palmer's display.

"He was outstanding," Tuchel said. "He showed great movement, finishing, and composure. He's a very talented player and I'm delighted for him."

Everton manager Frank Lampard was left to rue his team's poor defending.

"We made too many mistakes tonight," Lampard said. "We gave Chelsea too much space and they punished us. We need to be better if we want to stay in the Premier League."
